Yvette Piantadosi Yvette has been involved with dogs for over 45 years. In that time, she has worked with dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. She has trained numerous dogs and also whelped and raised over 250 litters of puppies.
I have whelped and raised over 250 litters of puppies not only my own litters but have also helped with rescues and have offered my services to whelp and raise litters for those who do not have the space of time available. I will also whelp and raise puppies for others. I have worked with dogs to help train them for service work, scent, obedience, sport work but I find what most people want is a well-behaved dog they can take out and enjoy around others. |
Most people want basic training for their dog to become a good house companion who's capable of going places with the family and behaving well in the public.
When you train together, an unspoken language builds between you through words, hand signals, whistles and other methods. Although you see many programs that use all those great buzz words now neuro stimulation, puppy cultures. I have been using these methods from 30 years ago in which we provide our puppies with daily stimulation and do on gong assessments. I take pride in the fact that i can quickly evaluate a dogs strengths and weakness and help the puppy work through these issues. Puppies are not all rock stars but can be molded so that they can use their strengths to help over come any short comings. I work with several rescue groups and I will often take in a rescue dog as a project dog to train and rehome. I provide services in which I can evaluate puppies . My methods of training are geered to the dogs best interest and to what the handle is capable of working with, we promote positive methods and believe that training is a life long process . I offer personal 1:1 training as well as small group classes. Dog training is a balancing act in which the onwer and dog leanr to adapate to each others signals and learn to work together to solve problems. we use reward based techniques to promote happy and healthy trained dogs. Our first meet and greet is for no charge to evaluate your needs and your dogs behavior. Our training is based upon custom training plan as no one plan fits everyone goals, or lifestyples. I provide a private FB group in which you can continue to learn and grow with your dog this is a relationship that I will be for the life of your dog. I provide email as well as text feedback. |

Some random thoughts for the pages my ideals for breeding of Mudi . I personally still feel that hte mudi is veyr similar to a malinois., LOL but I want a dog who is smaller who is intelligent and able to perform in all venues. Those dogs who are able to adapt and working in a multitude of environment show how stable they are, mudi should be alert but non aggressive. I feel they should be environmental sound dogs. I have some mudi who love everyone others hwo have eye only for me but are non aggressive to those around them. I feel a spooky or shy mudi is a dangerous trait and one that should not be used for breeding. It is my job to ensure that I obtain dogs from the most diversified genetic and that I breed dogs who are healthy with a lower COI. I raise my dogs in highly stimulating and nurturing environments t provide each puppy with the optimal experiences to help ensure an easy transition. I feel that my dogs prove their ability in multiple venues and that in order for them to compete in these venues they have to have correct structure. Mudi are a working dog now that doesnt mean they need to be out herding daily but they do need a task or some type of job. We train our dogs daily and just a good chase of the ball is enough to help them expel energy. Our dogs settle in the house and love to be on your lap while watching TV. We have found our dogs to be very willing to please, intelligent and learn quickly. Whether that is housebreaking or a new agility routine. Mudi to me are the perfect dog in that they are a small working package that are easy to care for. |
