On the Way...

Esme settled in quickly for the car ride and when she did wake up we would stop and take her to a grassy area where she could relieve herself.  This is the time to start introducing a word you have chosen to mean “go to the bathroom” we use “hurry up”.  Each time she went to the bathroom we said hurry up and gave her a small piece of cooked chicken.  This quickly reinforces the idea that going to the bathroom gets me fed.





My goal for the first month is for her to be crate trained, housebroken 90% of the time, sit, down, wait, sit pretty, bow and to play with toys.
